ABOUT
When an intoxicating friendship between two childhood friends becomes suffocating for one, a resurfacing old secret reveals the dark nature of their codependency.
Solitude is an Australian Psychological Thriller / Drama set in the Outback town of Winton, Queensland. Solitude explores the dynamics between two imperfect characters along with themes of toxicity in platonic relationships, co-dependency and escape. The location plays a significant role in utilising the Australian landscape as another character to display the hauntingly beautiful yet isolating nature of the Outback. The film aims to connect audiences with a thrilling yet terrifying journey where a co-dependent friendship degrades after years of secrecy, deception, and drug use.
